Franklin Mint / 1896 Ford Quadricycle / 1:6th Scale

Black

In 1896 Henry Ford was chief engineer of the Edison Illuminating Co. when he built a car called the Quadricycle. This spectacular die-cast model is based directly on Ford’s one and only original—and lets you see the actual working mechanism of one of the world’s most historic automobiles. Precision-engineered with operable tiller steering, wheels that turn, pulley, gears and leather belts that move in unison. The buggy-style seat is upholstered in suede leather to replicate the original cloth. Selected components are accented in brass, copper and gold electroplate.
