 This is a dynamite replica of one of the USA's most wanted muscle cars. Proportions are right on; details are first rate; the feel of the real car is there. The engine, an LS6-454 cu in  is fully plumbed and detailed down to the last warning sticker and cowl induction. The black interior replicates the custom buckets with console and 4-speed stick rising out of the floor. The trunk lid even carries jacking instructions as well as tire inflation information. The spare tire is mounted on the floor and carries the same Super Stock wheel as the other four wheels. To wind up the attention to body detail, the car has actual suspension, with coils on the front and leaf springs in the rear! Tires are Goodyear Polyglas. Wheel centers sport the "SS" logo. In the fall of 1998, FM designated this replica as a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. Today it is one of the hardest FM models to find. With Franklin Mint's new pro-military diecast program, it's anyones guess where the future lies in regards to musclecar releases in 1/24th scale from Franklin Mint.
